For many people, the Red Cross emblem as a symbol of humanity and safety. Today, there are more than 97 million people involved with the organization all over the world. These people made up of medical staff and management, as well as large numbers of volunteers. Many people mistakenly believe the Red Cross one organization. Instead of being a single entity, the Red Cross actually consists of several independent organizations that share the same principles and symbols. The organization works in all areas of the world to do everything from providing CPR training courses the Red Cross to work in the battlefields torn countries.
It is the oldest organization “International Committee” of the Red Cross, which is based in Geneva, Switzerland. It was founded in 1863 by Henry Dunant, a Swiss businessman. Dunant was a witness to the suffering present in the “Battle of Solferino” in Italy. Many men lost their lives due to poor sanitary conditions rather than injuries she received some of the day which will be considered in the palace. As a result of the lack of knowledge, health and hygiene, and medical personnel, soldiers died painful deaths long ago and often. Inspired by this suffering has been found to the International Committee of the Red Cross. And Gracenote his actions as he was the recipient of the first “Nobel Peace Prize” in 1901.
Clara Barton founded “American Red Cross” in 1881. She nurse who helped tend the wounded and dying soldiers on the battlefield in the “American Civil War.” Again often these men suffer severe due to a lack of medically trained staff.
